SAP ABAP Team Lead

This SAP ABAP Team Lead role at Premium involves leading a team of developers and managing SAP technical development activities. You will mentor team members, review technical designs and code quality, and enforce SAP best practices. Your responsibilities include designing, developing, and deploying ABAP solutions, working on reports, enhancements, forms, interfaces, and workflows. You will drive S/4HANA developments including CDS Views, AMDP, OData Services, and Fiori backend developments. Project management duties include effort estimation, resource allocation, and coordinating with functional consultants and business users. You will also conduct code reviews, ensure security compliance, and support testing and deployment. The role also involves close collaboration with functional consultants and business stakeholders to translate requirements into robust technical solutions.

The ideal candidate must have 8‑12+ years of SAP ABAP development experience with strong expertise in ABAP OO, ALV Reports, BDC, BAPI, RFC, IDoc, SmartForms, Adobe Forms, and Enhancement Framework. Hands‑on experience with SAP S/4HANA, CDS Views, OData, and Fiori Integration is required. Knowledge of SAP BTP and integration capabilities is preferred. Proven team management, strong analytical, and excellent communication skills are essential. A Bachelor's degree in CS/IT is required. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, are essential.
