SAP ABAP RAP Professional

As an SAP ABAP RAP Professional at Capgemini, you will design and develop applications using the RESTful ABAP Programming Model (RAP) on SAP S/4HANA and SAP BTP. Your role involves working on both managed and unmanaged RAP scenarios, including comprehensive CDS view modeling and service exposure. You will build and extend OData V2/V4 services, integrating them with SAP Fiori/UI5 applications to deliver seamless user experiences. Backend logic implementation using OOABAP, AMDP, and SQL on SAP HANA forms a core part of your daily responsibilities. You will collaborate closely with functional consultants and UI teams for end-to-end solution delivery. The position requires performing unit testing, code optimization, peer reviews, and ensuring strict adherence to SAP best practices.

The ideal candidate must have 4-6 years of experience in SAP ABAP RAP development with strong hands-on expertise in managed and unmanaged RAP scenarios. Required skills include proficiency in CDS Views, annotations, OData service development, OOABAP, AMDP, and HANA-optimized coding with performance tuning capabilities. Experience in developing and extending Fiori/UI5-ready backend services using RAP OData V2/V4 is essential. Working knowledge of SAP BTP, RESTful APIs, Git, and Agile methodologies is required. Skills in requirement analysis, technical design, unit testing, and cross-team collaboration are necessary. Any graduate or postgraduate degree is acceptable.
