Sap Abap Hana Developer

Role & responsibilities. Job Summary. We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP HANA Developer with 79 years of strong hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development and SAP HANA technologies. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, integrating, and supporting SAP applications using modern ABAP and HANA development approaches.Key Responsibilities. Design, develop, test, and maintain SAP ABAP applications based on business requirements. Develop ABAP reports, interfaces, enhancements, conversions, forms, and workflows. Work extensively with Object-Oriented ABAP (ABAP OO). Develop and optimize applications for the SAP HANA database. Create and maintain CDS Views and implement appropriate code-pushdown techniques. Develop AMDP procedures for HANA-based processing and complex data operations. Design and develop OData services for SAP Fiori/UI5 and external application integration. Develop and consume SAP interfaces including BAPI, RFC, IDoc, OData, REST/SOAP, as applicable. Analyze and resolve performance issues using appropriate ABAP and HANA performance tools. Work on enhancements using BAdIs, user exits, customer exits, enhancement spots, and other enhancement frameworks. Perform debugging, root-cause analysis, defect fixing, and production support. Participate in technical design, code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, and deployment activities. Collaborate with functional consultants, architects, business users, and other technical teams. Ensure development follows SAP coding standards, performance guidelines, and security best practices. Mandatory Skills. SAP ABAP – 7+ Years. SAP HANA. ABAP OO / Object-Oriented ABAP. CDS Views. AMDP. OData. Strong knowledge of ABAP development and debugging. Experience with enhancements and interfaces. Strong understanding of HANA performance optimization. Good to Have. SAP Fiori / UI5 integration. S/4HANA development experience. REST/SOAP services. BAPI, RFC, and IDoc. Modern ABAP syntax. SAP Gateway. Knowledge of RAP / CAP. Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Preferred candidate profile
