SAP ABAP EWM Consultant

7 10 Years Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Backend/API Developer with extensive experience in SAP ABAP and EWM (Extended Warehouse Management). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ABAP development and a proven track record of delivering high quality backend solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of SAP systems and the ability to integrate and optimize processes within the EWM module. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain ABAP programs and interfaces for SAP EWM. Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Implement and optimize backend processes to enhance system performance and reliability. Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices in ABAP development. Debug and troubleshoot issues in existing applications and provide timely resolutions. Participate in system testing and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure quality deliverables. Document technical specifications, processes, and procedures for future reference. Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and trends to continuously improve development practices. Mandatory Skills: Proven experience in ABAP development, with a strong portfolio of completed projects. In depth knowledge of SAP EWM and its integration with other SAP modules. Strong understanding of backend development principles and API design. Experience with performance tuning and optimization of ABAP programs. Excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Preferred Skills: Experience with SAP S/4HANA and its functionalities. Familiarity with other programming languages such as Java or Python. Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams. Experience with SAP Fiori and UI5 development. Understanding of data migration and integration techniques. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 7 10 years of experience in SAP ABAP development, with a focus on EWM.
