SAP ABAP Developer / Senior Technical Consultant

This SAP ABAP Developer / Senior Technical Consultant role at NetM Corporate Solutions is a hybrid position based out of Hyderabad and Bengaluru, covering the full RICEF development lifecycle. You will design and build enterprise ABAP solutions spanning implementation, rollout, migration, and support engagements, working extensively with ABAP on HANA, OData Services, and CDS Views. Daily work includes developing RAP-based applications and AMDP procedures for optimized data processing, alongside traditional RICEF objects such as BAPIs, RFCs, BADIs, and User Exits. You will also build SmartForms and SAP Scripts for output-layer requirements. SQL optimization is a recurring theme across the role, since much of the codebase runs performance-sensitive reporting for enterprise clients.

This role requires 2-7 years of hands-on ABAP development experience with demonstrated exposure to at least one full implementation, rollout, or migration project rather than support work alone. Strong command of ABAP on HANA is required, along with practical experience building CDS Views, RAP applications, and AMDP procedures. Candidates should be comfortable developing and troubleshooting BAPIs, RFCs, BADIs, and User Exits, plus SmartForms/SAP Scripts for print and PDF output. SQL optimization skills are specifically called out as a differentiator, so applicants should be ready to discuss a specific instance where they diagnosed and fixed a slow-running query in production.
