SAP ABAP Developer

In this role as an SAP ABAP Developer at Rigvedit, you will develop and enhance applications using ABAP on S/4HANA with a focus on modern technologies. Your daily responsibilities include designing and implementing CDS Views and AMDP procedures, building applications using the RESTful ABAP Programming Model (RAP), and developing and consuming OData services. You will work on SAP BTP integrations and extensions, handling RICEF objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms) to meet business requirements. Collaboration with functional teams for requirement gathering and solution design is essential. You will also ensure performance optimization and code quality through rigorous testing and debugging. Additionally, you will participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development practices.

The ideal candidate must have 4+ years of strong SAP ABAP experience with hands-on S/4HANA development. Required expertise includes CDS Views, AMDP, RAP Framework, and OData Services. Exposure to SAP BTP is essential, along with knowledge of enhancements and SmartForms/Adobe Forms. Strong debugging and performance tuning skills are required. Preferred skills include experience in Fiori/UI5, integration tools (CPI / APIs), and Agile methodology. Any graduate degree is acceptable. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, are essential.
