SAP ABAP Developer

This SAP ABAP Developer role at Orcapod Consulting involves working on RICEFW objects including Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, Forms, and Workflows. You will enhance the SAP system using BADIs, User Exits, Customer Exits, and the Enhancement Framework. Daily responsibilities include SAP ABAP/4 programming to generate Reports and develop APIs to connect to SAP and non-SAP systems using RFC, ALE/IDOCs, and Output Programming using SAP Script, Smart Forms, and Adobe Forms. You will collaborate with functional consultants and solution architects to implement, maintain, and support key software solutions using SAP S/4HANA development tools. The role requires unit testing, debugging, technical support, and troubleshooting for SAP ABAP applications. Integration with non-SAP systems using Web Services/Proxies/APIs is essential.

The ideal candidate must have 4-6 years of experience with RICEFW objects including Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, Forms, and Workflows. Required skills include BADIs, User Exits, Customer Exits, Enhancement Framework, SAP ABAP/4 programming, Reports development, APIs, RFC, ALE/IDOCs, SAP Script, Smart Forms, and Adobe Forms. Experience with Web Services, Proxies, APIs, CDS Views, AMDP, and S/4HANA is preferred. Any graduate degree is acceptable. Prior experience mentoring junior team members and contributing to internal knowledge repositories will also be viewed favorably.
