Job Description
This SAP ABAP Developer role at OKAYA involves designing, developing, testing, and supporting custom SAP applications and enhancements. You will develop Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows (RICEF), including ALV Reports, Dialog Programs, SmartForms, and Adobe Forms. Daily responsibilities include developing Function Modules, BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits, Enhancements, CDS Views, and OData Services, as well as RFC and REST/SOAP interfaces. You will optimize ABAP programs using ST05, SAT/SE30, SQL tuning, and HANA best practices. Providing production support, debugging, transport management, documentation, and defect resolution is essential. The role requires strong expertise in SAP ABAP, SAP S/4HANA, interfaces, forms, reports, workflows, and performance optimization.
Requirements
The ideal candidate must have 4-8 years of experience with strong expertise in SAP ABAP, OO ABAP, Data Dictionary, ALV, Smart Forms, Adobe Forms, BAPI, BADI, User Exits, Enhancement Framework, BDC, LSMW, and RFC. Experience with SAP S/4HANA, CDS Views, OData, and SAP Gateway is required. AMDP, RAP, SAP Fiori/UI5, SAP BTP, SAP CPI, Workflow, and BRF+ are good to have. B.E./B.Tech (CS/IT), MCA, or equivalent is required. SAP certifications are preferred. Prior experience mentoring junior team members and contributing to internal knowledge repositories will also be viewed favorably.
