SAP ABAP Developer (AMS)

This SAP ABAP Developer role at TCS focuses on application management services (AMS) and automated testing. You will design, develop, test, and deploy ABAP applications using various AMS tools. Daily tasks include collaborating with cross‑functional teams to identify business requirements, developing automated tests using testing frameworks, and troubleshooting application performance, data integrity, and system functionality issues. The role requires strong understanding of AMS concepts and integration with other systems. You will work in an IT services & consulting environment, handling multiple projects simultaneously. The role also involves close collaboration with functional consultants and business stakeholders to translate requirements into robust technical solutions.

The ideal candidate must have 2‑5 years of SAP ABAP development experience with a focus on application management. Strong understanding of AMS concepts and its integration is required. Proficiency in developing automated tests for ABAP programs using various testing frameworks is essential. Any graduate degree is acceptable. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, are essential. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to coordinate effectively with cross-functional and offshore teams are expected.
