SAP ABAP Consultant (Q2)

This entry‑level SAP ABAP Consultant role at Infosys involves developing, enhancing, and supporting SAP applications using ABAP. You will deliver quality code aligned with SAP best practices, with a focus on performance tuning and technical documentation. Your daily tasks include working with internal tables, subroutines, function modules, classes, and module pool programming. You will handle Data Dictionary objects (tables, views, structures), ALV reports, and Smart Forms/SAPScript/Adobe Forms. Basic exposure to CDS Views, AMDP, OData, and S/4HANA concepts is expected. You will collaborate with functional teams and follow performance optimization techniques. The role also involves close collaboration with functional consultants and business stakeholders to translate requirements into robust technical solutions.

The ideal candidate must have a Bachelor of Engineering degree with strong ABAP programming skills, including internal tables, subroutines, function modules, classes, module pool, and debugging. Good understanding of DDIC, ALV, and forms is required. Basic knowledge of CDS Views, AMDP, OData, and S/4HANA is preferred. Any graduate or postgraduate degree is acceptable. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, are essential. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to coordinate effectively with cross-functional and offshore teams are expected.
