SAP ABAP Consultant

This SAP ABAP Consultant role at The Glove requires hands‑on experience in ABAP development and strong problem‑solving abilities. You will design, develop, and implement technical solutions in Agile environments, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to support scalable enterprise applications. Daily activities include troubleshooting production issues, following best coding and security practices, and preparing technical documentation. You will continuously improve existing systems and ensure quality, security, and performance. Excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn new technologies are essential. The role also involves close collaboration with functional consultants and business stakeholders to translate requirements into robust technical solutions. The developer will participate in code reviews, unit testing, and performance tuning to ensure high-quality, maintainable ABAP code.

The ideal candidate should have hands‑on experience in SAP ABAP and SAP ABAP HANA, with OData knowledge. Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work in Agile environments are required. Excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn new technologies are essential. Any graduate degree is acceptable. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, are essential. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to coordinate effectively with cross-functional and offshore teams are expected.
