SAP ABAP Consultant

This SAP ABAP Consultant role at Discus Business Solutions in Ahmedabad covers the full spectrum of ABAP delivery, from initial design through hands-on support and end-user training. You will design, develop, and implement ABAP programs, reports, and interfaces using RICEF, OData, and IDoc technologies, working with both classic and object-oriented ABAP (OOABAP) depending on the project. The role also touches SAP HANA and extends into the Fiori/UI5 layer, giving you exposure across both backend and frontend SAP technologies. Beyond pure development, you will troubleshoot production issues as they arise and directly provide training and support to end users, meaning strong communication skills matter as much as technical depth in this particular position.

Candidates should have 3-5 years of ABAP experience with solid grounding in RICEF development, OData services, and IDoc-based interfaces. Comfort working in both classic and Object-Oriented ABAP is required, along with at least foundational exposure to SAP HANA and Fiori/UI5, since the role spans multiple layers of the SAP stack rather than staying purely backend-focused.
