SAP ABAP Consultant

We are looking for an SAP ABAP Consultant with around 2 years of relevant experience to join our SAP technical team. The candidate will be responsible for developing, enhancing, debugging, testing, and supporting SAP ABAP applications based on business requirements.The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in ABAP Reports, ALV, Enhancements, BAdIs, User Exits, BAPIs, RFCs, Interfaces, Forms, Debugging, and Performance Optimization. Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and CDS Views will be an added advantage.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain SAP ABAP programs based on functional specifications.Develop Classical Reports, Interactive Reports, and ALV Reports.Work on DDIC objects including Tables, Structures, Data Elements, Domains, Views, and Search Helps.Develop and maintain ABAP programs, Function Modules, and RFC-enabled Function Modules.Work on BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits, Customer Exits, and Enhancement Framework.Develop and support SAP interfaces between SAP and external systems.Work on IDoc development and monitoring.Develop and maintain Smart Forms, SAPscript, and Adobe Forms.Perform ABAP debugging and root-cause analysis for production issues.Analyze and optimize ABAP programs for better performance.Work with Open SQL, Internal Tables, Modularization Techniques, and Object-Oriented ABAP.Support data migration and mass-data upload programs where required.Coordinate with functional consultants to understand business requirements and technical specifications.Prepare technical specifications and development documentation.Perform unit testing, integration testing, regression testing, and defect resolution.Support deployment and transport activities across SAP environments.Provide production support and resolve technical issues within agreed timelines.

2 years of relevant experience in SAP ABAP development.Strong understanding of ABAP programming concepts.Hands-on experience in development, debugging, testing, and production support.Ability to understand functional specifications and convert them into technical solutions.Good knowledge of SAP development standards and best practices.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Good communication and coordination skills.Experience working with SAP functional teams will be an advantage.SAP S/4HANA development experience is preferred.SAP ABAP certification/training is an added advantage.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.SAP ABAP certification/training preferred.
