Job Description Role: Lead Associate – General Ledger Accounting & Reconciliations We are seeking a Lead Associate – General Ledger Accounting & Reconciliations to support end-to-end Record-to-Report (R2R) activities, including General Ledger accounting, balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, month-end close, and financial reporting. Key Responsibilities Support internal and external audits by providing reconciliations and supporting documentation. Provide guidance and support to junior team members on accounting and reconciliation matters. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. Experience: 0-2 years, preferably in a Shared Services / GBS environment ERP: SAP experience preferred The ideal candidate will have strong accounting expertise, hands-on SAP experience, and a proven ability to drive process improvements while ensuring compliance with accounting policies and internal controls. Ensure compliance with accounting policies, SOPs, internal controls, and audit requirements. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline. 0-2 years of experience in General Ledger accounting, balance sheet reconciliations, and month-end close activities. Professional qualifications such as CA Inter, CMA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent are preferred. Experience in a Shared Services, GBS, BPO, or multinational environment is an advantage. Hands-on experience with balance sheet reconciliations and account substantiation. Proficiency in SAP (SAP FI/CO preferred); SAP S/4HANA exposure is a plus. Experience with journal entries, accruals, provisions, account analysis, and financial reporting.
