Production Manager

Job Title: Production Manager Company: Infodra Technologies Job Category: SAP PP Roles & Responsibilities: Role \& Responsibilities * Manage and lead day\-to\-day production operations for automotive metal pipes, tubes and tube assemblies. * Oversee CNC tube bending, metal pipe forming, tube cutting, end forming, MIG/TIG/Resistance welding and furnace brazing operations. * Prepare and execute daily, weekly and monthly production plans based on customer requirements and delivery schedules. * Ensure achievement of production targets, production plan adherence and customer delivery commitments. * Monitor machine utilization, manpower productivity, cycle time, OEE and production efficiency. * Manage production resources, manpower deployment, shift operations and machine capacity planning. * Ensure proper monitoring of welding and brazing process parameters and manufacturing standards. * Coordinate with PPC, quality, maintenance, purchase, stores and dispatch teams for smooth production operations. * Monitor WIP, finished goods inventory, rejection, rework and scrap levels. * Implement corrective and preventive actions to improve product quality and process stability. * Ensure compliance with customer specifications, control plans, PFMEA and IATF 16949 requirements. * Drive Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, TPM and continuous improvement initiatives. * Identify production bottlenecks and implement actions to improve productivity and reduce manufacturing costs. * Ensure effective shop\-floor management, safety practices and timely customer supplies. * B.E. / B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification. * 1-3 years of experience in automotive components or metal tube and pipe manufacturing. * Strong hands\-on experience in CNC tube bending, metal pipe forming and tube fabrication. * Practical knowledge of MIG, TIG, Resistance Welding and Furnace Brazing processes. * Proven experience in independently managing shop\-floor production operations. * Good understanding of Production Planning \& Control (PPC), production scheduling and capacity planning. * Experience in manpower management, shift handling and machine utilization. * Strong knowledge of production process controls, welding and brazing quality standards. * Experience in implementing Lean Manufacturing, OEE, TPM, 5S and Kaizen initiatives. * Knowledge of IATF 16949, PFMEA, Control Plans and automotive quality systems. * Ability to manage customer delivery schedules and resolve production\-related issues. * Strong leadership, problem\-solving, communication and team management skills. * Ability to work under pressure and achieve production, quality and delivery targets.
