Production and Supply Control Associate

Job Title: Production and Supply Control Associate Company: Heads Up For Tails Job Category: SAP PP Roles & Responsibilities: About The Opportunity This role is critical to ensuring the seamless execution of the production and supply plan within a fast\-moving consumer goods (FMCG) environment. The Production and Supply Control Associate acts as the operational guardian of the plan, ensuring that every planned production quantity and date is realized through to final allocation, thereby protecting inventory cover and preventing stockouts or expiry risks. The role operates on an exception\-based model, proactively identifying and escalating deviations before they impact supply. Role \& Responsibilities * Run MRP immediately after the production plan is released and confirm the plan is fully covered. * Track raw material and packaging availability against the plan; raise PRs and POs with Procurement and Packaging on time. * Flag material shortfalls, long lead items and imported inputs before they stop a production run. * Track planned vs. actual production (quantity and date) for every SKU across in\-house plants and contract manufacturers. * Hold daily and weekly calls with plants and vendors on schedule adherence and slippage. * Reconcile every plan change so no quantity or date is lost; maintain one live plan\-vs\-actual record. * Track dispatch from plant or vendor to the warehouse, with transit status and expected receipt dates. * Ensure GRNs are posted on time and goods are available in the system for allocation. * Follow up on QC holds, short receipts and damages. * Allocate received stock to channels (E\-Com, Retail, Q\-Com, Amazon, B2B / Export) as per the planning team's allocation rules. * Track fill rate, indent fulfilment and days of inventory cover by SKU and channel. * Manage short\-supply and overstock alerts for rebalancing and hub transfers. * Run a daily control tower review of at\-risk SKUs, open actions and escalations. * Escalate slippage to the Sr. Manager, Demand \& Supply Planning with impact on cover and a recovery plan. * Publish a weekly plan\-adherence and inventory\-cover report and drive root cause closure on repeat misses. Skills \& Qualifications Must\-Have * Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations or Commerce. * Minimum 1 year in production planning and material planning, and on overall experience of 2\-3 years in supply chain execution roles, ideally in FMCG, food, supplements or cosmetics. * Hands\-on experience running MRP and following up with plants, contract manufacturers and packaging vendors. * Strong command of Excel (pivots, lookups, dashboards). * Working knowledge of an ERP (Odoo preferred; SAP or similar acceptable). * Disciplined follow\-up, clear written and verbal communication, and comfort escalating early. * Structured problem solving and ownership of outcomes, with attention to detail on quantities and dates.
