The Procurement Specialist is responsible for managing and following up on the procurement of products and services, coordinating with suppliers to ensure that the company’s requirements are met with the required quality, cost, and delivery timelines, in accordance with approved procurement policies and procedures. Key Responsibilities. Execute and follow up on procurement activities according to company requirements and procurement procedures. Identify and evaluate suppliers and compare quotations based on price, quality, and delivery terms. Negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best prices and commercial terms. Prepare and follow up on purchase orders and ensure all required procedures are completed. Monitor delivery processes and ensure products and services are delivered on time. Build professional relationships with suppliers and monitor their performance. Coordinate with internal departments to identify requirements and specifications. Follow up on invoices and procurement-related documents and coordinate with the Finance Department when required. Prepare periodic procurement, supplier, and order status reports. Ensure compliance with company policies, procurement procedures, and relevant regulations. Qualifications & Requirements. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Procurement, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field. 1–3 years of experience in procurement or purchasing. Good knowledge of procurement processes and supplier management. Strong negotiation and communication skills. Ability to analyze and compare quotations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP or procurement systems is preferred. Strong organizational, follow-up, and time-management skills.
