Job Title: Procurement Company: JAKSON GROUP Job Category: SAP MM Roles & Responsibilities: This role will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and governing product Bills of Materials (BOMs) for solar module manufacturing operations. The role will ensure BOM accuracy across product configurations, manufacturing processes, engineering changes, procurement, inventory, and costing functions. The incumbent will work closely with Engineering, Production, Planning, Procurement, Quality, and Finance teams to support efficient manufacturing operations and product lifecycle management. Key Responsibilities * Create, maintain, and validate Manufacturing BOMs (MBOM) and Engineering BOMs (EBOM) for solar module products. * Ensure BOM accuracy for all module variants including Mono PERC, TOPCon, Bifacial, Glass-to-Glass, Glass-to-Backsheet, and future technologies. * Manage BOM structures covering Cells, Glass, EVA/POE, Backsheet, Frames, Junction Boxes, Interconnect Ribbons, Bussing Ribbons, Sealants, Labels, and Packaging Materials. * Coordinate with Product Engineering teams to incorporate new product introductions (NPI) into BOMs. * Execute BOM updates based on Engineering Change Notices (ECN) and Engineering Change Orders (ECO). * Review material consumption standards and ensure alignment with actual manufacturing processes. * Maintain and govern product master data, material masters, and routing information within ERP systems. * Collaborate with Production Planning and Procurement teams to ensure availability of accurate BOM data. * Support product costing activities by maintaining accurate material structures and consumption quantities. * Conduct periodic BOM audits and identify discrepancies between system data and shop-floor practices. * Ensure standardization of BOM structures across products and manufacturing lines. * Track and manage alternate materials and approved vendor substitutions within BOMs. * Analyze material variances, wastage trends, and consumption reports to support cost optimization initiatives. * Support inventory accuracy and material traceability requirements. * Work closely with Quality and Process teams to ensure BOM compliance with manufacturing specifications. * Generate BOM reports, change logs, and data analytics for management review. * Support ERP, PLM, MES, and digital transformation initiatives related to master data management. * Develop and maintain BOM governance procedures, SOPs, and control mechanisms. * Train internal stakeholders on BOM change management and governance processes. * Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance BOM accuracy, efficiency, and data integrity. * B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electronics Engineering or related discipline. * MBA Operations or Supply Chain Management. * Engineering BOM (EBOM) Management * Manufacturing BOM (MBOM) Management * Engineering Change Management (ECN/ECO) * Solar Module Manufacturing Processes * Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) * SAP Systems * Material Master Data Management * Product Configuration Management Work Location: Noida, India Availability: Full time
