Plant Maintenance Engineer

Role & responsibilities. Manage overall plant, machinery, and building maintenance activities. Plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules to minimize machine breakdowns. Ensure timely maintenance of machining equipment and production utilities. Monitor equipment performance and implement corrective actions to prevent major failures. Optimize maintenance costs through effective planning and resource utilization. Ensure compliance with safety standards and statutory maintenance requirements. Coordinate with production teams to maximize machine availability and minimize downtime. Maintain maintenance records, spare parts inventory, and service documentation. Qualification:. Diploma/B.E. in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. Experience:. 1-5 years of experience in plant maintenance in a manufacturing industry (preferably fuel dispenser, machining, or engineering). Skills:. Knowledge of CNC/VMC maintenance. Preventive and breakdown maintenance. Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting. Building and utility maintenance. Basic knowledge of PLC, hydraulics, and pneumatics. Good problem-solving and communication skills.
