Planning Engineer

Job Title: Planning Engineer Company: MYSCAAI Job Category: SAP MM Roles & Responsibilities: The candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely project execution through effective planning, schedule monitoring, coordination with site teams, and data\-driven project control. 2\. Key Responsibilities * Prepare, develop, and maintain detailed construction project schedules, work plans, baseline programmes, and milestone trackers. * Develop and update project timelines using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project (MS Project). * Monitor actual project progress against planned schedules and identify delays, risks, and deviations. * Utilize SAP S/4HANA / SAP Project System (SAP PS) for project planning, cost monitoring, resource tracking, and project control, as applicable. * Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports, MIS reports, dashboards, and management updates. * Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, contractors, procurement, and other departments to ensure smooth project execution. * Track manpower, materials, equipment, budgets, and resource requirements against project schedules. * Perform critical path analysis, schedule variance analysis, and delay assessments, and recommend corrective actions. * Develop project performance dashboards and monitor key performance indicators using Power BI. * Maintain project documentation, planning records, progress reports, and revised schedules. * Forecast project completion dates and proactively highlight potential delays and resource constraints. * Ensure project plans align with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and contractual milestones. * Primavera P6: Project scheduling, baseline management, critical path analysis, progress updates, and delay tracking. * Microsoft Project (MS Project): Task scheduling, activity dependencies, resource allocation, and milestone tracking. * SAP S/4HANA / SAP PS: Project planning, project cost monitoring, resource tracking, and ERP\-based project controls. * Microsoft Excel – Advanced: Progress tracking, pivot tables, MIS reports, schedule variance analysis, and project reporting. * Power BI: Project performance dashboards, KPI monitoring, data visualization, and management reporting. * AutoCAD – Preferred: Reading construction drawings and coordinating planned activities with design and execution teams. * Construction Planning and Scheduling * Project Monitoring and Controls * Baseline Planning and Critical Path Analysis * Resource and Cost Management * SAP\-Based Project Controls * Progress Reporting and MIS * Risk Assessment and Delay Analysis * Cross\-Functional Coordination * Analytical Thinking and Problem\-Solving Work Location: In person Work Location: Karnataka, India Availability: Full time

3\. Required Qualifications * Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or Construction Management. * 0-3 years of experience in construction planning, project scheduling, or project controls. * Hands\-on experience with SAP, preferably SAP PS (Project System) or SAP S/4HANA, relevant to construction project planning and control. * Proficiency in Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project. * Strong understanding of construction methodologies, project sequencing, resource planning, cost control, and progress measurement. * Experience in preparing baseline schedules, tracking project progress, and forecasting completion timelines. * Strong analytical, coordination, reporting, and problem\-solving skills. 5\.
