Planning Engineer

Job Title: Planning Engineer Company: Company Confidential Job Category: SAP PP Roles & Responsibilities: seeking an experienced Planning Engineer with expertise in metal fabrication and structural steel manufacturing. The successful candidate will be responsible for production planning, scheduling, resource coordination, and progress monitoring to support timely project delivery. Key Responsibilities: * Develop and maintain project schedules and detailed production plans using Primavera P6\. * Plan and monitor fabrication activities, manpower requirements, and resource allocation. * Coordinate with design, engineering, procurement, production, and project teams to align schedules with delivery commitments. * Monitor planned versus actual progress, identify potential delays, and prepare recovery plans. * Track production hours and productivity against allocated budgets. * Prepare progress reports, forecasts, and management dashboards using Microsoft Excel. Requirements: * Minimum 5 years of UAE experience in planning within the metal fabrication and structural steel manufacturing industry. * Strong proficiency in Primavera P6 and advanced Microsoft Excel skills. * Thorough understanding of fabrication processes, production sequencing, and capacity planning. * Strong analytical, reporting, communication, and coordination skills. * Applicants must currently be based in the UAE. * Candidates available to join immediately will have an advantage.
