Job Title: Natural Addibas Mainframe Consultant Company: EQPLUS TECHNOLOGIES PTY LTD Job Category: SAP ABAP Roles & Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities * Develop, maintain, enhance, and support applications using Natural on IBM Mainframe platforms. * Work with Adabas database infrastructure to support reliable data storage, retrieval, and processing. * Analyse business and technical requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions. * Perform application development, debugging, testing, and maintenance. * Investigate and resolve application and database\-related incidents. * Support mainframe application integration and data processing activities. * Conduct system testing, troubleshoot defects, and implement corrective solutions. * Maintain technical documentation and adhere to development standards. * Collaborate with business analysts, developers, database administrators, and other technical stakeholders. * Support ongoing system enhancements and production support activities. We are seeking four experienced Natural / Adabas Mainframe Consultants to join our client's team, with two positions based in Gauteng and two in Cape Town. Essential Requirements * Proven experience in Natural mainframe development. * Strong experience with Adabas database infrastructure. * Knowledge of IBM Mainframe environments and application support processes. * Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem\-solving skills. * Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a technical team. * Experience with VisionPLUS. * Experience in the banking or financial services industry. * Experience in the retail sector. * Knowledge of transaction processing and business\-critical mainframe applications.
