Key Responsibilities ------------------------ * Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js. * Build robust RESTful APIs and backend services using Node.js and frameworks such as Express.js, Koa.js, or similar. * Develop responsive and user-friendly frontend applications using React.js, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3. * Design efficient database schemas and optimize queries across MongoDB and SQL databases. * Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms, including JWT, OAuth, and role-based access control. * Understand and apply asynchronous programming, event-driven architecture, error handling, and performance optimization techniques. * Design applications with scalability, maintainability, security, and reliability in mind. * Integrate third-party APIs, external services, and multiple data sources. * Deploy and manage applications using AWS services and implement CI/CD pipelines. * Apply DevOps practices using Docker, Kubernetes, and related deployment tools where applicable. * Conduct code reviews, write maintainable code, and ensure adherence to engineering standards and best practices. * Troubleshoot complex technical issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions. * Collaborate with product managers, designers, QA engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely project delivery. * Mentor junior developers and contribute to knowledge sharing and continuous improvement. * Communicate technical updates, implementation approaches, risks, and dependencies clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders. * Experience with TypeScript and modern frontend development practices. * Familiarity with automated testing frameworks and test-driven development. * Experience with microservices, event-driven systems, caching, and message queues. * Exposure to application monitoring, logging, and production troubleshooting. * Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
