SAP Module: SAP PM Roles & Responsibilities: Job Responsibilities: Mechanical, Static & Rotating Equipment Develop and execute Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Predictive Maintenance (PdM) programs for mechanical assets using CMMS tools Ensure proper alignment, balancing, lubrication, vibration analysis, thermography and bearing monitoring for rotating equipment Lead or assist in major overhauls and turnaround activities for critical plant assets, coordinating contractor scopes and safety procedures Implement equipment reliability strategies, including RCFA, RCM, and FMEA. Lead “bad actor” analysis and define long-term corrective actions with measurable outcomes (e.g., MTBF/MTTR improvements). Track, analyze, and report key reliability metrics to support KPI performance for the Maintenance & Engineering Manager. Support internal and external audits (MOM, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, SS651). Maintain and update registers and certificates for regulated equipment, ensure readiness for MOM audits and EHS inspections. SOP Development & Documentation Develop, review, and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and maintenance checklists for mechanical and utility systems. Team Supervision & Task Management Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of mechanical technicians and in-house contractors to ensure timely and safe execution of maintenance tasks. Assign and monitor jobs using CMMS and job sheets, ensuring proper resource allocation and schedule adherence. Monitor contractor performance and enforce compliance with safety standards. Lead toolbox meetings and manage manpower planning, particularly during shutdowns and emergency works. General Responsibilities Lead or support small- to medium-scale capital projects, including scope development, budgeting, vendor management, installation, and commissioning. Demonstrated ability in SOP development, technical documentation, and process compliance. Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, with strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration abilities. Collaborate with operations, E&I engineers, and vendors to align maintenance strategies with production requirements. Job Requirements: Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Minimum 5 years’ maintenance experience in chemical, pharmaceutical, or process manufacturing environments. Hands-on experience with CMMS (e.g., SAP, MVP) and maintenance planning.
