Role: Materials Specialist Job Description: Roles and Responsibilities: * Receiving and Processing: Accept incoming shipments, inspect for quality, and document merchandise for delivery or return. * Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of inventory entering and exiting the warehouse, ensuring proper stock rotation and cycle counts. * Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and label goods for outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with shipping schedules. * Equipment Operation: Safely operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, overhead cranes and pallet jacks, and perform daily inspections to ensure equipment is in good working condition. * Assist with general housekeeping * Update systems or paperwork for inbound/outbound stock movements * Arrange local freight * Communication: Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient workflow and address any issues that arise during operations.
