Material & Inventory Coordinator

Job Title: Material & Inventory Coordinator Company: MK Global Auto Resources SAP Module: SAP MM Roles & Responsibilities: * Monitor daily material requirements based on operational demand. * Coordinate material availability and replenishment with suppliers and site teams. * Track incoming materials and review delivery orders and material schedules. * Follow up on urgent material shortages and coordinate alternative suppliers when required. * Ensure sufficient stock availability to support uninterrupted operations. 2. Inventory Management * Monitor stock levels, Days of Inventory (DOI), and inventory accuracy. * Conduct cycle counts and reconcile physical stock against system records. * Identify slow-moving, excess, and obsolete inventory. * Support stock adjustments, inventory audits, and inventory reporting. * Ensure proper FIFO/FEFO practices are followed. * Communicate with suppliers regarding delivery schedules and commitments. * Follow up on delayed shipments, shortages, and delivery discrepancies. * Monitor supplier performance, including on-time delivery and material quality. * Coordinate inbound deliveries, transportation arrangements, and shipment schedules. * Escalate critical supply issues and support recovery plans. * Update material information and transactions in SAP. * Track purchase orders (PO), Goods Receipt (GR), and shipment documentation. * Maintain accurate inventory records, delivery trackers, and material movement reports. * Prepare inventory and operational KPI reports as required. 5. * Coordinate with Warehouse, Production, Planning, Quality, and Logistics teams. * Support factory dock and warehouse operations during peak periods. * Participate in process improvement initiatives, audits, 5S, and workplace safety activities. * Assist with contingency planning and resolve operational issues promptly. * Minimum SPM, high school diploma, or equivalent qualification. * Diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field is an advantage. * 1-2 years of experience in inventory control, material planning, warehouse operations, logistics, or a related field. * Experience using SAP and Microsoft Excel is preferred. * Knowledge of inventory management, stock reconciliation, FIFO/FEFO, and material replenishment. * Strong coordination, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. * Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. * Detail-oriented with good analytical and reporting skills. * Inventory & Stock Control * Material Planning & Replenishment * SAP System * Supplier Coordination * Goods Receipt (GR) & Purchase Order (PO) Tracking * Inventory Reporting & Reconciliation * Microsoft Excel * Logistics & Delivery Coordination Benefits: Key Skills: Purchase Orders, Inventory Management Salary: MYR 2500 - 2900 per monthly
