Job Title: Manufacturing Supply Chain Coordinator Company: Dawn Aerospace SAP Module: SAP PP Roles & Responsibilities: Dawn Aerospace is building scalable space transportation. We're developing advanced spaceflight systems and creating a future where access to space is more frequent, sustainable, and affordable. We're looking for a Supply Chain Coordinator to support the flow of materials, components and hardware through our manufacturing operation. This is not a traditional purchasing or logistics role. You'll work at the centre of an aerospace production environment where traceability, quality, supplier performance and execution matter. About The Role Working closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality and Finance, you'll ensure the right materials are available at the right time while maintaining the standards and records required to build flight hardware. * Managing purchase orders and supplier deliveries. * Maintaining accurate inventory, material and procurement records. * Supporting material traceability, serialisation and configuration control. * Monitoring supplier performance and escalating delivery or supply risks. * Ensuring part numbers, revisions and manufacturing records remain accurate. * Supporting the movement of hardware through production. * Identifying opportunities to improve purchasing, inventory and supply chain processes. * Work on hardware destined for flight. * Join one of New Zealand's fastest-growing aerospace companies. * Learn from world-class engineers, technicians and operational leaders. * Take ownership and see the direct impact of your work. * Help build the systems and supply chain that enable scalable space transportation. * In-space propulsion We're a leading supplier of turnkey green propulsion systems for various classes of satellites. Our systems utilise safe, accessible propellants and we have over 170 of these propulsion units on more than 40 operational satellites already. A further 200 units are in production. * In-space servicing Coupled with our propulsion expertise, we are ensuring that our customers' satellites are refuellable. In the coming years, Dawn will offer a refueling service to enable life extension of customer satellites. This new market is aligned with our sustainability goal to ensue a clean and safe space for everyone! * Spaceplane We are developing the fastest and highest-flying aircraft ever to take off from a runway, combining the extreme performance of rocket propulsion with the reusability of conventional airplanes to enable high-frequency, low-cost access to sub-orbital space. * 3+ years' experience in supply chain, procurement, materials planning, inventory control or manufacturing operations. * Experience working with ERP/MRP systems. * Strong attention to detail and data accuracy. * Experience managing controlled documentation, revisions or serialised products. * An understanding of traceability, supplier quality and regulated manufacturing environments. * The confidence to identify risks, escalate issues and drive actions through to completion. * The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-performance team.
