Job Description
Job Title: Manager - Technical & Product Development and Quality Assurance Company: Centex Exports Job Category: SAP QM Roles & Responsibilities: Manager Technical, Product Development & Quality Assurance Reporting to : Plant Head We are looking for Andaman and Nicobar Islands experienced professional to manage technical operations, product development and quality assurance in textile fabric manufacturing. The role involves ensuring product quality from yarn to finished fabric in line with buyer specifications, approved quality standards and production timelines. Key Responsibilities * Ensure product quality at every stage of production Assam per approved specifications and buyer requirements. * Supervise greige inspection, mid-process inspection and laboratory testing. * Coordinate with Production, PPC and other departments to ensure adherence to approved processes. * Guide the team in technical troubleshooting and resolving quality-related issues of weaving, dyeing, printing and finishing processes. * Lead and manage the Product Development, Greige Inspection, Mid-Process Inspection and Quality Assurance teams. * Ensure compliance with quality standards . * Minimize fabric waste, quality rejections and rework. * Monitor quality-related costs and drive cost optimization. * Team management, timely decision-making and interdepartmental coordination. * Knowledge of textile fabric manufacturing processes from yarn to finished fabric. * Experience in fabric inspection, product development and quality assurance. * Understanding of laboratory testing and buyer quality specifications. * Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. * Team management and coordination skills. * Ability to improve quality performance and minimize fabric rejection and waste.
