Manager Or Sr. Manager Electrical Purchase

Role & responsibilities. Procure electrical components and consumables for CNC/VMC machinery manufacturing & Various projects. Develop and implement procurement strategies for electrical components used in CNC/VMC machines and industrial projects. Procure electrical equipment including PLCs, HMIs, servo drives, VFDs, motors, MCC panels, control panels, switchgear, transformers, cables, sensors, relays, breakers, and industrial automation components. Manage procurement for plant electrical infrastructure, machine installation, commissioning, and project execution. Lead strategic sourcing, vendor selection, evaluation, and development. Prepare and evaluate RFQs/RFPs, techno-commercial comparisons, negotiate contracts, and release purchase orders. Coordinate with Design, Electrical Engineering, Production, Projects, Quality, Stores, and Finance departments. Ensure timely delivery of materials to meet manufacturing and project schedules. Monitor supplier performance on quality, cost, and delivery. Drive annual cost reduction and value engineering initiatives. Ensure compliance with procurement policies, quality standards, and statutory requirements. Preferred candidate profile. Proven experience in Procurement in electrical procurement for CNC/VMC machine manufacturing, industrial machinery, automation, capital equipment, or industrial project execution. Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems and automation components. Ability to interpret electrical drawings, BOMs, and technical specifications.
