This role drives analytical excellence and innovation. You will lead the development and implementation of cutting\-edge data science and AI solutions, helping clients navigate digital transformation and leverage data and AI to drive business value, while improving health outcomes. How will you make an impact? * Analytics leadership: Lead analytical delivery for healthcare clients, ensuring consistent high\-quality solutions that address complex data challenges and drive tangible business outcomes * Team development: Manage and mentor a technical team of analysts, developing their technical capabilities and fostering professional growth through coaching and knowledge sharing * Stakeholder engagement: Maintain strong relationships across all levels of client organisations, from subject matter experts to senior executives, ensuring alignment between technical solutions and business objectives * Strategic communication: Translate technical concepts and analytical insights into accessible recommendations for non\-technical audiences through compelling presentations and communications * AI innovation: Apply understanding of AI applications to enhance analytical productivity and deliverable quality, staying current with emerging technologies * Culture building: Contribute to shaping Quantium's culture and collaborative environment within the Johannesburg office through visible leadership and team engagement * Continuous learning: Our vision is empowering our people to thrive. The Superpowers You'll Be Bringing To The Team * Technical proficiency: 7\+ years' experience in advanced analytics / data science, with 1\-2\+ years in a leadership capacity * Advanced technical skills: Strong Python and SQL proficiency for complex data querying and manipulation across large datasets * Cloud expertise: Experience with large\-scale data processing and familiarity with cloud platforms (GCP, Azure, Databricks) * Academic background: Degree in a relevant field such as mathematics, statistics, computer science, economics or related discipline * Stakeholder management: Excellent stakeholder management skills across various organisational levels * Communication excellence: Strong presentation and communication abilities, with experience translating technical concepts for non\-technical audiences * Consultative approach: Experience building trusted relationships with stakeholders and gaining in\-depth understanding of their objectives to develop relevant solutions that solve complex problems * AI understanding: Understanding of generative AI applications in analytics and consulting contexts * Healthcare interest: Healthcare sector experience or strong familiarity with healthcare data challenges is desirable What could your Quantium experience look like?
