Job Description
This IT Infrastructure Executive/Assistant Manager role at Torrent Power involves managing SAP ABAP and Java systems including ECC, BW, Enterprise Portal, and Process Orchestration for 4000+ SAP users. You will support SAP HANA, MaxDB, Oracle, and MySQL databases, administer Apache and Tomcat web servers, and manage SUSE Linux, IBM AIX, and Windows server operating systems. Daily responsibilities include scheduling database backups, working with IBM Spectrum for backup management, and handling VMware virtualization including VSAN, VCenter, ESXI upgrades, and VDI. You will manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, fix vulnerability assessments, perform IT asset management, and coordinate with FMS/Support teams. The role requires strong documentation skills and evaluation of new requirements.
Requirements
The ideal candidate must have 4-9 years of experience in SAP BASIS administration with expertise in SAP NetWeaver, SAP HANA, and Oracle databases. Strong VMware virtualization management skills including VSAN, VCenter, ESXI, and VDI are required. Proficiency in SUSE Linux, IBM AIX, Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and vulnerability assessment is essential. B.Tech/B.E. in any specialization or MCA is preferred. Prior experience mentoring junior team members and contributing to internal knowledge repositories will also be viewed favorably. A strong customer-first attitude and willingness to travel to client locations as needed will be an added advantage for this role.
