A Day in the Life The IT Developer (Salesforce) designs, develops, and supports Salesforce solutions that enable customer relationship management, sales enablement, and business process automation. This role contributes to the delivery of scalable Salesforce capabilities through application development, platform configuration, integrations, and adoption of Salesforce AI technologies while partnering with cross\-functional teams in an Agile environment. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned: * Design and develop Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Health Cloud, and Experience Cloud platforms. * Build AI\-enabled business capabilities using Salesforce Agentforce, Prompt Builder, and Salesforce AI features. * Develop Lightning Web Components (LWC), Apex classes, triggers, batch processes, queueable jobs, platform events, and REST\-based services. * Configure and optimize Salesforce Flows, approval processes, and workflow automation following platform best practices. * Implement Salesforce security controls including Organization\-Wide Defaults, role hierarchy, sharing rules, permission sets, profiles, field\-level security, and restriction rules. * Integrate Salesforce with enterprise applications using REST APIs, SOAP services, platform events, and other integration frameworks. * Participate in solution design discussions and recommend approaches that improve scalability, performance, maintainability, and security. * Troubleshoot application issues, perform root cause analysis, and maintain high\-quality code through unit testing and deployment standards.
