This Inventory Control Associate role at Orcapod Consulting Services involves executing day-to-day inventory control activities in SAP in accordance with approved Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). You will perform daily IDOC error review and resolution, execute inventory movement transactions including receipts, shipments, inventory adjustments, returns from customers, and scrap clearing. Daily responsibilities include balancing inventory between OCS/Distribution Centers and SAP, supporting SAP intransit inventory reporting, preparing daily inventory metrics and operational reports, and maintaining supporting documentation for all inventory transactions. You will execute activities in compliance with SOX control requirements, support period-end close activities, and assist with audit requests. This position also offers exposure to enterprise-wide transformation programs and cross-functional collaboration.
Requirements
The ideal candidate must have hands-on working knowledge of SAP inventory modules, especially inventory movements and IDOC handling. Experience with inventory reconciliations and error resolution is required. Any graduate degree is acceptable. Familiarity with change management practices and a track record of successful stakeholder engagement across diverse business units is preferred. Prior experience mentoring junior team members and contributing to internal knowledge repositories will also be viewed favorably. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, along with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
