Job Title: Information & Data Analyst Company: City of Sydney Job Category: Data Science Roles & Responsibilities: City Planning Development \& Transport About the role ------------------ The City of Sydney is seeking a highly motivated and dynamic person to join the Service Optimisation Team responsible for designing, implementing and monitoring new ways of working across the functions of Planning Assessments, Health and Building, and Construction and Building Services to improve efficiency and effectiveness and business outcomes. You will oversee and manage the data lifecycle including data governance, data architecture, data quality, accessibility and use, data analytics and data strategy for the Planning Development and Transport Division. As an informatics leader your purpose will be to harness the digital technology to transform data and information into knowledge for the Division to use every day and be stewards of the data. * tertiary qualifications, at degree level, incorporating data science, data management, data analytics and/or information management * significant experience across data management business intelligence and analytics, informatics * analytical and problem\-solving skills and understanding of statistical methods for analysing large sets of data for process improvement * expertise in data analysis, data preparation, and business intelligence using a variety of data tools, such as Microsoft Power BI, Power Platform.
