Indirect Tax - SAP ABAP Developer - DRC & Tax Integrations-Senior

This Senior SAP ABAP Developer role at EY focuses on DRC and Tax Integrations, working on custom developments, enhancements, and extension components for SAP DRC, statutory reporting, and tax processes. You will develop and maintain ABAP objects for DRC-related enhancements, build custom extractors, ALV reports, tax reports, BAPIs, RFCs, and function modules. Daily responsibilities include working on Adobe Forms, SmartForms, and custom PDF outputs for e-Invoicing, supporting DRC mappings, JSON/XML creation and transformation logic, and collaborating with functional teams to resolve reporting and compliance issues. You will perform ABAP debugging for DRC process failures and develop enhancements using BAdIs, user exits, and DRC extension points. The role also involves leading, supervising, training, and mentoring staff and interns on engagements.

The ideal candidate must have strong ABAP experience (OO ABAP, Enhancements, BAdIs) with expertise in Adobe Forms and SmartForms. Experience with IDoc processing, RFCs, and ABAP Proxy is required. Good understanding of SAP DRC or eDocument frameworks is essential. Working knowledge of BRF+, BTP ABAP, or RAP Model is preferred. Experience with tax reporting objects, SAF-T, and statutory extractors is desirable. Strong leadership and project management skills are required. Any graduate or postgraduate degree is acceptable. A strong customer-first attitude and willingness to travel to client locations as needed will be an added advantage for this role.
