Head of Supply Chain - SAP

Reporting into the General Manager - Supply Chain IT, the Head of SAP Supply Chain Technology will define and develop framework for engagement with all levels of stakeholders in the Supply Chain functions of the business This includes disciplines such as Operations (Logistics), Direct Procurement and Demand/Supply planning across the organisation. The role will be accountable for delivery to the Supply Chain functions of the organisation and form deep partnerships with the General Management team as well as their direct teams. The implementation of SAP S/4 HANA and associated SaaS products into our technology landscape has provided the foundation of our future capabilities and good functional/technical knowledge of SAP across these business functions will be key as the role will be the interface between the business and our outsourced Application Support and Maintenance vendor (TCS). Key responsibilities Business relationship ownership at all levels in the Supply Chain organisation across Sigma and its subsidiaries Accountability for the delivery of continuous improvement and enhancements from IT to the Supply Chain organisation, including SAP functional modules such as S/4 HANA, EWM and SaaS products including SAP Ariba and SAP IBP Ensure all design proposals are aligned with both Supply Chain and IT strategies Prepare the organisation for the successful implementation of SAP projects by supporting the Supply Chain with preparing business cases, adhering to the project governance framework, achieving buy-in and compliance across the Group's Supply Chain operation Participate in the ongoing enterprise data reporting platform (EDP) for the integration of EWM data being built on Microsoft Azure/Snowflake including visualisation tools (Power BI) to Supply Chain Build relationships with key stakeholders across IT ensuring we always act as one team Build a continuous improvement mindset and high performance culture in our DCs and utilise new technology to deliver efficiency and cost reduction Lead the SAP IT Supply Chain functional area to meet the operational and strategic needs of the business Set clear goals and expectations for the department and manage IT Supply Chain recruitment activities in conjunction with Human Resources KPI setting and staff mentoring and vendor management where applicable About you A tertiary qualification in a business, supply chain, or IT discipline; or 3+ years in an IT leadership position; or relevant skills and professional work experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry; or an equivalent combination of professional work experience and education/training At least one full cycle of end to end SAP Implementation experience and/or 'run/BAU' experience – ideally S/4 HANA – and associated SaaS products including IBP Working experience with decentralised SAP EWM and a sound understanding of EWM architecture and processes Demonstrated analytical, problem solving and planning skills Strong command of the English language and a proven track record with requirements gathering Ability to translate technical concepts so they can be understood by all stakeholders Business analysis, process mapping, and analytical tools experience Customer orientation and ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with customers, internally and externally Resilient with the ability to remain calm under pressure Current driver's licence required Unlock job insights Hirer responsiveness Salary match Number of applicants Report this job advert Be careful Don’t provide your bank or credit card details when applying for jobs.
