Head of Fixed Assets & Inventory

Job Title: Head of Fixed Assets & Inventory Company: ARIA HOLDING SAP Module: SPP EWM Roles & Responsibilities: About the Role We are seeking an experienced Head of Fixed Assets & Inventory to lead and manage the organization's fixed assets and inventory accounting functions. The role is responsible for ensuring accurate asset capitalization, depreciation, inventory valuation, asset verification, compliance, and financial reporting while maintaining strong internal controls and governance throughout the asset lifecycle. Key Responsibilities * Lead and manage Fixed Assets and Inventory accounting operations. * Maintain and oversee the Fixed Asset Register (FAR) and inventory records. * Manage asset capitalization, depreciation, transfers, impairments, and disposals. * Conduct periodic physical verification of assets and inventory and reconcile discrepancies. * Ensure proper asset tagging, tracking, and lifecycle management. * Oversee inventory valuation, stock reconciliations, and inventory adjustments. * Develop and implement policies, procedures, and internal controls related to fixed assets and inventory. * Coordinate internal and external audits and address audit findings. * Prepare and review fixed assets and inventory-related financial reports and schedules. * Collaborate with Finance, Procurement, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to optimize asset utilization and inventory controls. * Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements. Qualifications & Experience * Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field. * Professional qualifications such as CA, CPA, ACCA, CFA, or MBA Finance. * Minimum 15 years of accounting and finance experience. * 0-1 years of experience managing Fixed Assets and Inventory functions. * Minimum 5 years of supervisory or managerial experience. * Experience in large organizations, preferably within healthcare sectors. * GCC experience preferred. * Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, or equivalent. * Fluency in both English and Arabic.
