Functional Consultant

Job Summary. As an SAP SD Functional Consultant, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting SAP Sales and Distribution solutions within a dynamic e-commerce environment. This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, SAP technical teams, and cross-functional ERP groups to streamline and optimize order-to-cash (O2C) processes across multiple regions. Responsibilities. SAP SD Implementation Support: Design, configure, and maintain SAP SD modules covering sales order management, pricing/discounts, delivery/shipping, billing/invoicing, and credit management to ensure end-to-end O2C process stability. Business Process Alignment: Partner with business teams to translate requirements into SAP solutions, support e-commerce sales models (B2C, B2B, marketplace), and drive scalability through process automation. System Enhancements Projects: Contribute to rollouts, upgrades (S/4HANA), and enhancement initiatives; assess change impacts, recommend best-fit SAP standards, and coordinate with ABAP developers for custom solutions. Integration Collaboration: Work closely with SAP MM, FI/CO, WM/EWM teams and external platforms (e-commerce, 3PL, payment gateways) to deliver seamless, integrated processes. Incident Change Management: Manage production support tickets, perform root cause analysis, implement permanent fixes, and ensure SLA compliance for critical business operations. Testing Documentation: Prepare functional specifications, test scripts, and training materials; support UAT and regression testing cycles to guarantee solution quality. Requirements. 510+ years of experience in SAP SD module. Strong expertise in end-to-end O2C process. Experience in SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA environments. Hands-on experience in pricing procedures, output determination, and billing. Knowledge of global sales processes (multi-country, multi-currency setups). Experience working in retail/e-commerce domain is highly preferred. Strong understanding of integrations with logistics and finance systems.
