Finance Experienced Professional - FP&A Operations

Job Title: Finance Experienced Professional - FP&A Operations Company: Baker Hughes SAP Module: SAP FICO Roles & Responsibilities: Provide financial and costing support to manufacturing / operational plants by ensuring accurate product costing, inventory valuation, and manufacturing cost reporting. The role supports month-end close activities, cost analysis, and process improvements while partnering with cross-functional teams to drive financial accuracy, operational efficiency, and compliance with company policies and standards. Essential Responsibilities: * Provide finance and costing support to manufacturing plants for product costing, inventory valuation, and production-related cost issues. * Investigate and resolve costing discrepancies related to production orders, work orders, material consumption, and inventory transactions. * Analyze manufacturing variances, including purchase price variance (PPV), production variances, and inventory variances. * Investigate significant cost fluctuations and provide explanations to stakeholders. * Support material ledger and actual costing activities mainly for manufacturing plants (running order settlements) etc. * Support month-end close activities, including accruals, journal entries, and reconciliations. * Partner with Operations, Production, and Supply Chain teams to understand cost drivers and identify corrective actions. * Understanding applicable Policies, Enterprise Standards, SOPs, and Process Maps to deliver globally competitive financial and accounting services. * Using SAP and CFIN across various company codes, including regular analysis of general ledger accounts, and recommending improvements and corrective actions. * Working closely with external and internal auditors to support the completion of all audits. * Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance costing and reporting processes. * Analytical and detail oriented. * Strong problem-solving and communication skills. * Proactive learner with a continuous improvement mindset. * Effective team player and business partner. * Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities. * Knowledge of manufacturing finance, costing, SAP, and Excel is preferred.
