Key Responsibilities More about the role * Lead the design, configuration, and deployment of Vertex tax solutions integrated with SAP S/4HANA across global business units. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Finance, IT, and external partners to ensure seamless tax automation and compliance. * Provide subject matter expertise on indirect tax, transaction tax, and global tax determination logic. * Manage end-to-end project lifecycle for Vertex implementations, including requirements gathering, solution design, testing, and post-go-live support. * Analyze and optimize existing tax processes to improve accuracy, efficiency, and compliance. * Stay current with global tax regulations and Vertex product updates to ensure ongoing system alignment. * Support internal audits and external tax reporting requirements through system enhancements and data integrity initiatives. Qualifications * 1-2 years of experience with Vertex tax solutions (e.g., Vertex O Series, Vertex Cloud). * Strong experience with SAP S/4HANA, particularly in the areas of tax configuration, SD/MM integration, and financial postings. * Proven experience in global tax environments, preferably within multinational corporations. * Solid understanding of indirect tax processes, including VAT, GST, and sales/use tax. * Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. * Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional initiatives. * Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field; advanced degree or certifications (e.g., CPA, SAP FI/CO) are a plus.
