Design Specialist

The Knot Worldwide is hiring a Design Specialist in Gurugram to lead design modifications and finalization of custom stationery products for customers planning weddings and major life events. You will perform detailed pre-flight checks before items move to print production, catching typography, layout, and color issues that could affect final print quality. Managing customer communication throughout design consultation is central, requiring both design sensibility and clear, patient communication with customers making personal, emotionally significant purchases. Maintaining productivity standards ensures the team keeps pace with order volume without sacrificing design quality. Experience with CRM platforms including Zendesk, Salesforce, or Kustomer is preferred, since customer interactions and design requests are tracked and managed through these systems throughout each project's lifecycle.

This role requires 3-8 years of design experience with strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite tools including Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop. Solid understanding of print production processes and typography fundamentals is essential, given the physical stationery products this role designs. Experience performing pre-flight checks before print submission is valuable, catching quality issues before they become costly print errors. Strong customer communication skills are required for direct design consultation throughout the purchasing journey.
