Design Manager

Key Roles & Responsibilities :. Design and develop mechanical parts and assemblies to be used in high-pressure pneumatic systems. Understand Customer and Product Requirements. Implement Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) techniques. Conduct Motion Analysis, FEA and Calculations to meet the Design Requirements. Formulate Reports, Design Documentation, Assembly & Testing Process Flow, FMEA keeping safety in mind. Assist in Production Planning activities. Efficiently manage 3D CAD and Drawing Files. Plan & Execute Projects from Start to End. Co-ordinate with team members and other departments to accomplish tasks within stipulated deadlines. Research & Development of new products and processes for continuous improvement and expanding product range. Build and lead a team of engineers to achieve excellence in design & production standards. Skills : - Project management, 3D CAD, FEA,Mechanical Design, Design & Manufacturing Technology, DFM, DFA, Product Development. Mechanical Product Design, Mechanical Product Research and Development, Product Testing,3D CAD Design (SolidWorks, Catia, Inventor), Finite Element Analysis (FEA),MATLAB (Not mandatory but a bonus software skill for future projects), Design for Manufacturing (DFM),Design for Assembly (DFA), Failure Mode & Effect Analysis (FMEA), Rapid Prototyping, Hydraulics and Pneumatics,Assembly Design, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), Design Documentation, 3 D CAD Modelling, FEA, Solid Works, Mechanical Design.
