Job Description
Purpose/Objective. The ERC Engineer - Process supports the Head - ERC in engineering and designing coal washeries and mineral processing plants. This role involves assisting in process planning, equipment selection, documentation preparation, vendor coordination, and ensuring project efficiency and innovation.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities of Role. Concept/Basic engineering/Detail engineering of Utility system for mine projects. Preparation of Process Flow Diagram, Piping & Instrument diagram, GA drawings, Bill of Quantity, Presentations, Detail Project reports, 3. Preparation of Water demand & balance report, load list, design Basis, Civil Inputs etc. Preparation of Technical Specification of all bought out items. EPC tender preparation. Vendor discussion and communication for mechanical equipment and accessories, and new technology updates etc. Preparation of Technical Evaluation/Recommendation sheets for offers received from vendors. Value engineering- Implementation of new technologies, modification of designs and systems according to value analysis. Ensure the timely and proper interface detailing with other departments. Continuously update the team manager about the trend & innovations 8. MS Office, Auotcad, Hydraulic calculations software like Pipenet or any other, Familiar 9. Responsible for planning, engineering and design for Utility system i. e. Preparation of Engineering calculations, Process Flow Diagram, Piping & Instrument Diagram, Water demand & balance report, technical specification, Bill of Quantity, selection of equipment like Pumps, Valves, Pipe, Compressors, Fans, Air conditions etc. . . Technical Competencies. Budget Management and Cost Control-NR,Digitization & Automation-NR,Engineering Design Process-NR,Mine Technical Drawing and Documentation-NR,NR Business Know How-NR,Project Design & Control-NR,Project Planning & Optimization-NR.
