Job Title: Data Scientist Company: Quest Global Job Category: Data Science Roles & Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities * Dig into large datasets to surface trends, patterns, anomalies, and insights that matter to the business. * Prepare, validate, and shape datasets — data quality checks and feature engineering included — for every analytical and modelling use case. * Apply statistical and machine learning techniques to build models for prediction, forecasting, and segmentation. * Write and run SQL across data platforms to extract, transform, validate, and prep data for analysis. * Build and maintain dashboards that track key metrics and put insights directly in front of stakeholders. * Evaluate model performance and turn analytical findings into recommendations the business can act on. * Use AI tools to work faster — sharper analysis, faster coding, leaner reporting. Job Requirements * A bachelor's or master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, Economics, Engineering, or another quantitative field. * 3–5 years in data science, analytics, market research, or a related field. * A strong grip on statistical concepts and how to apply them in practice. * Machine learning fluency — the judgment to select, apply, validate, and evaluate the right technique (regression, classification, tree\-based models) in Python and scikit\-learn, based on the business question and the data at hand. * Strong SQL skills and hands\-on experience with Databricks or similar data platforms. * Working knowledge of building and maintaining dashboards in Power BI or similar BI tools. * An understanding of primary and secondary research methodologies. * Real, practical experience using AI assistants like Claude or Copilot for coding, analysis, and problem\-solving. * Sharp problem\-solving instincts, close attention to detail, and a structured approach to analysis. * The ability to translate analytical findings into insight that lands with both technical and non\-technical audiences.
