Job Title: Data Scientist Company: noon Job Category: Data Science Roles & Responsibilities: Role Overview The role involves working with large\-scale e\-commerce data, developing predictive models, and generating actionable insights to support business decisions. Key Responsibilities: * Analyze large datasets using SQL (BigQuery) and Python to identify trends, patterns and actionable business insights. * Develop and maintain machine learning models for forecasting, classification, recommendations and anomaly detection. * Design and execute A/B tests and experiments to measure business impact. * Build and automate data pipelines, ETL workflows and model deployment processes. * Explore and implement AI\-driven solutions, including setting up and optimizing AI workflows to automate processes and improve business efficiency. * Work closely with Product, Engineering and Commercial teams to identify opportunities where data science and AI can drive business value. * Document methodologies, assumptions and findings to ensure reproducibility and knowledge\-sharing. Requirements: * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering or a related quantitative field. * Strong proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit\-learn) and SQL, including complex queries and query optimization. * Good understanding of data structures and algorithms, including arrays, linked lists, stacks, queues, hash maps, trees, sorting and searching algorithms, and time/space complexity. * Solid understanding of statistics, including hypothesis testing, regression, probability distributions and experimental design. * Familiarity with machine learning algorithms such as linear/logistic regression, decision trees, random forests, gradient boosting and clustering. * Understanding of cloud\-based data environments such as Google BigQuery, AWS or similar platforms. * Exposure to AI tools, automation and experience setting up AI\-powered workflows or integrating AI solutions into business processes. * Ability to communicate technical concepts and findings clearly to non\-technical stakeholders. * Strong problem\-solving skills, attention to detail and intellectual curiosity.
