Commodity Buyer

Job Title: Commodity Buyer Company: GVW Group Job Category: SAP MM Roles & Responsibilities: About The Role As a Commodity Buyer, you will be responsible for managing assigned commodity sourcing activities, developing supplier partnerships, and leading commercial negotiations to support production and project requirements. This role plays a critical part in executing procurement strategies through sourcing, RFQ management, supplier development, commercial support, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities * Source components and identify qualified suppliers * Manage RFQ processes and supplier evaluations * Negotiate pricing, contracts, and commercial terms * Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships * Support supplier development and performance improvement activities * Partner with Engineering teams to support commercial decision\-making * Resolve supply chain and supplier\-related issues * Drive cost reduction and value improvement initiatives * Prepare sourcing recommendations and business cases * Monitor and report on supplier performance metrics At GVW Group, you'll have the opportunity to work alongside entrepreneurial leaders, contribute to strategic sourcing initiatives, and make a meaningful impact across a diverse portfolio of businesses operating around the world.
