Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (SAP Basis)

SoftwareOne is hiring a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer in Gurugram to manage and resolve infrastructure support tickets spanning Azure cloud services and SAP Basis environments. You will deploy and maintain SAP Landing Zone infrastructure on Azure, ensuring these standardized environments provide reliable, well-governed foundations for client SAP deployments. Performing both Windows Server and Linux administration is a core responsibility, given SoftwareOne's mixed-OS infrastructure footprint across client environments. Patch management using PowerShell and Bash scripting keeps systems current and secure, while monitoring tools including Avantra, CheckMK, and Splunk provide visibility into infrastructure health. Security scanning through Qualys supports vulnerability management. Following ITIL-aligned incident and change management processes ensures infrastructure changes happen in a controlled, well-documented manner.

This role requires 3-6 years of infrastructure engineering experience with practical exposure to both Azure cloud infrastructure and SAP Basis environments. Strong Windows Server and Linux administration skills are essential, alongside scripting proficiency in PowerShell and Bash for patch management automation. Experience with monitoring tools such as Avantra, CheckMK, or Splunk is required, along with familiarity with Qualys for security vulnerability scanning. Working knowledge of Azure Kubernetes Service and SAP Landing Zone concepts is valuable. Candidates should be comfortable following ITIL-aligned incident and change management processes across managed client infrastructure environments.
