Buyer/Procurement Analyst

RGBSI is hiring a Senior Buyer/Procurement Analyst in Bengaluru on a hybrid schedule, combining hands-on SAP MM system work with strategic sourcing responsibilities across mechanical and electrical commodity categories. You will lead cost analysis during supplier transitions, manage RFQ processes, and track a range of procurement KPIs to measure sourcing performance. A notable part of the role involves supporting New Product Introduction transitions, meaning procurement decisions here directly affect product launch timelines rather than just ongoing operational buying. The position also involves global sourcing coordination, requiring comfort working across time zones and supplier bases in different regions. Note that this role runs on a night shift, from 6pm to 3am, to align with international stakeholders.

Candidates need 3-5 years of procurement experience with hands-on SAP MM skills, specifically covering order management, vendor management, and P2P processing. Strong global sourcing exposure is required, ideally with direct experience in mechanical or electrical commodity categories given the nature of this role. RFQ management and supplier transition cost analysis experience is essential, since these are core, recurring responsibilities. Familiarity supporting New Product Introduction transitions from a procurement standpoint is expected. Strong negotiation skills and a continuous improvement mindset round out the requirements. Candidates must also be willing and able to work the specified 6pm-3am shift to support global coordination.
