Procurement Manager \\_ Your role and responsibilities In this role, you will have the opportunity to purchase materials according to required technical specifications, price, delivery schedule, and terms. Each day, you will ensure purchasing activities align with corporate purchasing policies and procedures. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying new suppliers in cooperation with the relevant category team. The work model for the role is: Onsite/ Hybrid This role is contributing to the AUPI in South Africa. * Initiating Purchase Orders in the system, according to the purchase requisitions and in alignment with standard procedures, and confirming delivery with suppliers, monitoring, and tracking supplier performance to PO requirements. * Negotiating agreements with main suppliers and periodically renews price lists and terms and conditions. * Recommending frame agreements to management and executing upon approval. * Analysing and evaluating bids to determine the optimal value. Qualifications for the role * Strong abilities to work closely with Engineering and Project Management teams. * Ability to demonstrate your experience in Project procurement, negotiation skills, problem solving, work under pressure * Possess knowledge of SAP ERP, PPT, SAP ARIBA (an advantage) and MS Excel * Relevant Procurement and Logistics qualification. * You are at ease communicating in English Benefits ------------ Preference will be given to candidates from designated groups, including people with disabilities, in line with the company’s Employment Equity Plan and Employment Equity Act requirements.
