Billing Analyst

About the role ### What You Will Do * Prepare, verify and issue client invoices accurately and on schedule, including during high-volume billing cycles. * Review bills and billing data before processing to confirm they are complete and correct. * Resolve complex billing issues using the Dispute application in SAP. * Post bank receipt entries in the books of account and apply them to customer accounts in SAP, making sure all bank offset accounts and bank-in-transit items are cleared on a weekly basis. * Reconcile customer accounts and receivables. * Review, monitor and control the accrued revenue balance to ensure that all accruals are settled. * Support month-end closing for the billing group and prepare billing and AR financial reports. * Respond to client queries and revise invoices when needed; send hard-copy invoices and Release Orders (ROs) to clients where required. * Apply basic tax knowledge when preparing invoices and reconciling accounts, in line with local requirements. * Support internal and external auditors with billing data, documentation and bill verification, and liaise with other stakeholders as needed. * Follow billing procedures and quality checks, and suggest practical improvements to how we bill and reconcile. * Impact: Your work keeps billing and revenue flowing for partnerships that help platforms like TikTok, Amazon and Google grow advertising in 130+ markets. * Growth: We give our internal talent room to grow and learn together; this role builds depth in SAP, AR operations, accrual control and month-end close. * Team culture: Aleph is a place of many cultures, perspectives and talents, where people support each other and value open communication and partnership. * Market context: Digital advertising changes fast, and our finance team sits at the centre of a global, multi-market business. * Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Business Administration or a related field. * 1 year of experience in billing, accounts receivable or finance operations. * 1 year of experience (any version, for example SAP ECC or S/4HANA). * Strong accounting fundamentals, including reconciliations, accruals and month-end close. * Basic tax knowledge (a tax specialist background is not needed). * Ability to handle large-volume invoicing with accuracy and attention to detail. * Basic English proficiency * Flexibility to work across time zones and to put in extended hours during seasonal peaks. * Professional certifications (for example CPA or CFA) are not required. * Nice to have: prior experience in the media or advertising industry; an MBA in Finance.
